Well if we cannot offer a Blackpool reserve a decent wage.

How are we going to attract good quality Championship players?

    Thank the Lord for that.

He may turn out to be brilliant , but he doesn't appear up to much at the minute.

its probably more that for once in our lives

the club has made a stand. This is what we think is reasonable, we are not getting into a bidding war, take it or leave it. We were left hanging on forever for Constantine last season. Use the money on Macken I say !

He thought he was a good quality Champ player and wanted the money to go with it. Well done Barnsley.

How's your old boy doing ? will he make it on saturday ? I seem to think we win the majority of home games when he does not attend, could he be persuaded to stay away, after all at the end of every season he does say he is never coming again !

    Have you improved at all?

Quite the opposite I think. We have offered him wages that a UNPROVEN championship player deserves and he didn't like it so sod him!!

    Step up Mr Coulson!!! :)

Well done BFC again. Refusing to pay too much for a player that is UNPROVEN in this league. He had the chance to sign but feels he is worth more.
Lets move on to the next target

RE: Well if we cannot offer a Blackpool reserve a decent wage.

How do you know we didn't offer a decent wage? What is classed as a decent wage? What has he proved to warrant a better wage? He isn't proven at this level, so we may have offered a good contract based on his achievements so far. If a player with proven credentials comes along, for the right sort of price, then I dare say that the club would offer the player his true worth. But the club will not be held to ransom by any player. And for that I admire them. They are running this club well, and keeping a steady ship. Unlike a certain Mr Ridsdale - spend today, suffer the consequence tomorrow.

    Thank god

If all his problems this season were caused by "off the field problems" then I failed to see how moving to Barnsley would have caused them to stop.

Plus since he moved up to "our" division he's not hit the back of the net, and we all know that buying lower league strikers tends not to work that well for us.

One thing that seriously worries me about this whole thing

Simon Davey has said "we made what we believed to be a fair offer for an unproven championship striker"!

Why the **** are we bidding for an unproven championship striker in the first place, as to my knowledge we have 4 of them on the books already!

    Thank You Kiegan Parker

We were worried when our manager was after signing you. Thank you for doing us fans a favour and not signing.

Who's fault is it, greedy players, agents, transfer system or Barnsley for not paying. I would say agent and transfer system.
