    Morning,

I'm wanting to get to the match at a reasonable time, and get a safe place to park (I'm a bit reluctant to park on the streets, as I've heard a few bad stories).

Does anyone know the best place to park. Would it be wise to park in the club car park? Does anyone know if it's like the one at Barnsley, where in if you get lumbered in the middle, you have to wait for everyone else to come out before you can go?

    Cheers,

Lakeside shopping centre mate. Plenty of spaces and it definatly does not lock gates up at 9.30pm. There is a pizza hut on mcdonalds on site which stay open till after that time anyway. Only 5 - 10min walk to ground.

    Definitely doesn't shut the gates?

If that's the case, then I'll park in there. Cheers mate, much appreciated.

It does say that the shopping centre is only open until 6pm. Does the car park definitely stay open?

I used to work there and it does stay open. As I've said if you park on the streets anyway you'll be fine. I've never had a problem and I've been doing it for years and years and never known anyone have a problem. If you park anywhere near the stadium up at the shopping centre, expect to be there for quite a while after the match, best bet's round near the dome, then you guys can pop through the town centre and off down the A635 with no queuing. 15 minute or so walk but better than 45-60 minutes sat in the car not moving.

    Just rang Lakeside shopping centre...

They said they don't lock the gates at all because they don't have any to lock.
