Not been since the 90s and off to a gig Tuesday night, from memory it’s quite “lively” around there. Anybody been recently? Any good parking pogs where my car won’t be on bricks/on fire upon my return?
Literally bang across there’s a roundabout. The second exit has an ncp. Costs a tenner but saves messing.
It’s still a rough arse area, but there’s always plenty of ‘attended’ parking when there’s gigs on. Not worth hunting round for on street parking, for sake of a fiver and stressing about whether it’s still gonna be in one piece. You’ll be fine. On a related note, I went to White Hotel in Salford recently. Now that IS dodgy.
Saw Michael Kiwanuka there last month. If you get there early enough you can park right next to the venue. Completely safe and secure but limited spaces. Cost a fiver if I remember right.
Went last October to see Earasure there. Use the security staffed/patrolled car parks for the gig literally across the road from the venue. No brainer.
