No its not a Joke :)

Young un wants to go and I am thinking of going in the car.

Is there plenty of parking around the ground?

No, it's ****. We always park at a pub about 15 mins walk away, just on edge of the industrial estate the ground is on, opposite the Deep Blue Chip oil.

If we go by car, we always park in the Holiday Inn car park off Imperial Way (think its around £3 off the top of my head). If you Google the hotel it comes up as being on Basingstoke Rd but its not. Good bar attached to that for ale/food & obviously kids are welcome. Its a 10-15 minute walk from there. There's industrial estates around there where you can park but be careful - sometimes they clamp and sometimes they don't. Mate of mine parked in one such factory car park and they had locked the gates by the time he returned (night match) - along with quite a few others. Had to stay until next day when they re-opened :D

Alternatively, loads park just off the roundabout over the motorway on Basingstoke Rd - because its free the tight so & so's lol. Top tip is to face the car towards the roundabout and motorway junction otherwise you'll be ages turning around. About a 20 minute walk from there.
