Has anyone been before? Whats it like for parking? Apparently the Asda car park is a big no-no?? Any advice much appreciated!
Going in a car should be a no no fullstop, but it's not your car so not your problem I believe there's plenty of free street parking nearby and so you shouldn't have a problem. Gotta love the first bad thing the away supporter brings up here http://wolverhamptonwanderers.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=935&p=2&stid=8457531
If you want to get close to the ground I think there are some unofficial car parks or you could park in the Town Centre as it is quite close. Street parking is difficult as it is all residents schemes unless you go about 20/30 mins walk from the ground - that's what we shall do.
There's a public car park where they park the ......... ....... coaches, pay and display I think (or there was last time I went) about half a mile from the ground, up the hill! Sorry I can't be more specific with the directions, but it's usually fairly safe, which can't be said for some of the areas around the ground cos it can be a bit dodgy at times there
Strange that they use a Nottm Forest fan as the away fans view. How long is it since they have been in the same division? A more recent opinion would be better.
He don't really like football to be honest. I think I've turned him tho. Sadly when he was a child he had to wear full wednesday kits - i think it put him off football but since Cardiff I think hes a secret BFC fan! He must have some kind of love for BFC cos he drives all over. No one would drive all the way to Southend on a baking hot day if they didn't have some kind of support in them!
Right, we have heard your mother is a Wendy and now about Adam having to wear Wendy kits. How did you avoid such an horrible thing Aye he would have to be some sort of fan to keep going to away matches with our record. The last time I saw us win an away match was Buxton.
no - Our adam has NEVER worn a wendy kit. I'm talking about lee - my boyfriend. Our adam will go spare if he finds out someone has said he used to wear wendy kits. he had a BFC poster over his cot for god sake! Last away win for me was....... - oh bloody hell I can't remember! Southend I think. Spare a thought for our adam tho - he really can't remember the last time he saw us win away. He reckons it was probably the prem season (not including play offs etc of course!)
Yeah it was Southend for me in the league. Since then i've watched us lost to Morecambe, beat Buxton, draw to Colchester, draw to Charlton and lose to Leicester. A damn win is due and I would probably take something thrown at me by a home fan on saturday if it meant we would get three points. The international break is worse, because I hate not having a game.
You got choice of 2 carparks near the Railway Station, its £6 for the day in the Railway Station Multi Storey or just round the corner at the top of Corn Hill theres a car park thats £2.50 for the day but it usually gets busy, ground is about 10 minute walk from the station, avoid the town centre pubs its all Dingles and Police, use the Great Westrn at the back of the Railway Station.
Wolves season ticket holder - beware if parking in streets.....old bill have just started recently putting tickets on every car they can (mine included)
Beware full stop i've heard. Beware getting off the coaches, beware of things thrown from the top tier of the Steve Bull stand onto you and beware of a scutch when leaving at full time.
I wouldnt go that far, ive never seen any trouble around the ground. Nothing gets thrown from the steve bull upper at all. The only places I would avoid are the subway (behind the ground) and town centre prior to the game.
What's happened to Eastwood? It just doesn't make sense him stuck in reserves when he's had a pretty good start to the season. Charging us 27 quid is daylight robbery and we will only bring around 600 at most. Our Michael is doing a great job managing you. McCarthy is a legend.
hi all i hope ypu have a good day out.if you want free parking head for chapel ash barclays bank there is also 3 pubs away fan friendly also only 10 min walk to the ground also you could try west park if you get there early enough.
What are the away friendly pubs called? I had a look on your rivals website guide and the pubs mentioned all make sure they tell you that away fans aren't welcome.
yer your right mate mick is a legend proper honest yorkshire lad .freddy has not been doing the buisness for us so was dropped ,£27 aint that bad mate
