Parked at Stanmore last time, plenty of space when arrived but almost 90 minutes to get out.

To avoid it used www.parkonmydrive.com, paid £5 to use someone's drive, 10 minute walk from Stanmore (towards the A1 junction).

Still fair few different spaces available if folk want to look into it.

Drive to the next station down, Canons park.
£1.50 to park, plenty of spaces, you may even be able to park on the street for nowt. £1.50 train fare.
As it's Sunday it is quiet, took at least 30 seconds to get away from the car park and back towards the A1.
    Anybody else do this?

Considered that when browsing t'interweb last night - car park looked a lot smaller than Stanmore? I'll probably stick with Stanmore but like you say, a tw@ to get out of.

    90 mins??

I was out in 10 mins, we watched all the celebrations and then headed straight up Wembley Way and got the first train that came in. His drive was on London Road where the station is.
