Does anyone have any idea where I can get some done that doesn't involve having to get into 1 of them "Photo Me" booths? Believe me, trying to get onto 1 of them small rotating stools without the use of your legs is damn near impossible!

    Maybe look into this...

    http://www.epassportphoto.com/

It's supposed to be able to generate passport compliant photos for free. Would be ideal for you though.

I think they have a deal with an online printers (hence the prices you might see on there) but you don't need to use them.

    Thanks

Will look into that. Oh & Kev, if you'd seen me trying to use 1 the last time, you'd have been doing your best Stuart Hall laugh. All I was missing was a foam costume & a bucket of water!

They have a camera and a white wall in most stores for doing passport mug shots. Costs around 5 quid

    I did my own

Digital camera, adobe photoshop. Obviously someone else took the photo of me.
You need a plain background (off white or light grey if memory serves).

Or as folks have said, Asda do them - just ask at the photo counter.

    Oh aye, right laugh

    1. Get wheelchair part into photo booth.
    2. Realise the curtain is caught in the wheels.
    3. Reverse from the photo booth, untangle curtain & repeat step 1.
    4. Rotate stool to what you estimate is the correct height.
    5. Transfer onto rotating stool which then rotates as you get close to landing meaning you end up perched precariously on the stool, wedged into the far corner.
    6. Struggle to get yourself upright & find stool is too high or too low.
    7. Decide that the photo would look ok if you sit hunched up if too high or stretching your neck if too low cos you can't be bothered to go all the way back to 4.
    8. Find you can't get your money out of your pocket & keep your balance on the stool at the same time so get back onto wheelchair & repeat from 4 anyway.
    9. After much effort, finally get said photos & go to renew disabled parking badge only to learn that in the intervening 3 years they've either changed offices, the documentation you need to prove your disability or both. Whichever it is, no fecker bothered to tell anyone meaning a wasted journey!

Yeah, ASDA took mine with a hand held camera.

Maybe that is the best idea.

if you have some photos of your own....

try here, or equally, get someone to take a snap with you stood against a white wall

    http://www.epassportphoto.com/

This is what I used, printed out, sent off and the passport came back with no issues

EDIT, sorry, didn't see it above, but I can confirm it works
