Completed Passport renewal online Tuesday this week. Previous had expired last year. 12:30 today received new one. 72hrs inc sending back previous Passport. I think that's incredible, thought it would take weeks.
Had similar last week. Think it took 4 days for ours x3 and that included me having to submit a second photo as first one rejected.
Did one of my lads a few weeks back, and it took a week turnaround too. So it's decent service these days by the looks
I thought because they'd expired and we've changed address we'd have a few hoops to jump through, but can't fault em.
IIRC even when it was in the papers every week that service was rubbish last year you could still get a passport fairly quickly if you applied online. The problems were when you did a postal application...
Little lass got hers renewed, a week turnaround. Class. Like you couldn't believe it. This bloody country eh.
Averages out the shower of **** I had with my daughters. Three lots of recorded delivery sending documents that they could have requested in the first instance, one of which I had to prove I was her dad! Took about five weeks. Looks good in blue though!
Online application won't allow you to proceed without the correct docs/ information. If your doing postal there's a post office service that checks your application before it's submitted. Our post office in Hunmanby fantastic.
My wife did hers recently, really quick turn around. Driving license took longer though because she didn't have a valid passport when she applied for it (hence her new passport). Can't fault them tbh.
