I can't decide if it was sacking Thordarson for Phart, Ritchie for Davy or not supporting MR and bringing in the berk. I think I would probably having to for sacking Gudjon as I think he would have got us promoted with a bit of support.
Taking on Barnsley Football Club. All that money, all that time, all that hassle for what in return? It's a good job for all of us he did it, I believe we were screwed, but I don't know what he will have got out of it personally. The satisfaction that the club would continue, but I bet he wishes he wasn't the man to have made that happen.
Possibly his biggest regret may have been not trying hard enough to get hold of the reins at BFC before the mayor and his sweating assets policy. Then again that may have been out of his hands.
He could be quite direct with people, but his best mate was Noel Blake so I don't think he was racist.
His appointment was, but not his sacking. Although technically Peter Ridsdale was in charge when the sacking took place. Extremely Northern's answer is much better though.
Hindsight is a great thing. It looked like a real coup at the time. I was well pleased, as were many others. Besides, I still believe KH had an incredible amount of bad luck during his tenure.
Losing Robins and having to sack Keith because he wanted to cut costs etc, but then gives the wrong manager everything possible who then fails.
