It surprises me that Take Thats 'Patience' still seems to get more radio air play than the newer single 'Shine'
Yet again I put it down to prejudice from the fact that Owen fronts it rather than Barlow.

Shine pisses on Patience IMHO

I don't understand your extreme love for Owen. The line:

"Twanna figuwe it out"

Shows why Barlow is the greater songsmith.

is a virtue, much like benevolence, mercifulness and giant ****

They say it's a virtue. I just think it's a sign of a person that'll put up with any old *****.

Lyrically speaking the pinnacle was reached with

"If you get a flu attack
For thirty days you're on your back "

I have no love for Owen

I just think Shine is a much better tune. And the video is the dogs B*ll*cks

Jasons birthday earlier this week apparently, he was 47

I prefer the earlier tracks

myself, they have gone a little too commercial with tracks such as "Shine" and "Patience". These are vastly inferior to such audio delights as "Never Forget" and "Back for Good".

"Wooden Boat" however on the new album is a fantastic composition.

you are being sarcastic when you say you like take that are'nt you? i know freedom of choice of what music people like etc etc. but there has to be a limit. i mean the only way i'd ever see take that is in a four way, anything goes battle royal with robbie officiating.

They feature in my current top three bands/performers

Alongside The Feeling and Lilly Allen (I don't actually like her very much as a person but I feel myself strangely
drawn to wanting to give her one)

im sposed to be seeing the klaxons

at leeds festival. by "see" i mean ill be pissed somewhere in the vicinity of the stage. And by "pissed" i mean vomiting through a heady concoction of drink and drugs
