Listening to him speak is like sitting down with your grandad, I mean in this in a good way I could honestly sit in a room all day and listen to what he as to say Like how he makes a joke out of a question he doesn't want to answer And I don't blame the bloke , we are fans we don't have to right to know everything Enjoyed the 2 hours tonight and all 3 came across really well Even though 90% of the questions were aimed towards Cryne Gives me great pride to know that the football club I support are so approachable Long live Patrick Cryne because I haven't a clue what what will happen without him Put in over 2.7 million in the last financial year alone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No mate he dodged the question and said he didn't want to start the clock ticking because he sacks them after 1 year 2months think he said Interesting to hear that PC didn't want Danny rose to leave and regrets the decision Says holgate wanted to leave so totally different Rose cried when he found out the was leaving Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
t'owd tryone wouldn't have liked what hecky had to say about paul digby. his little head would have popped off
Didn't really answer the last question on fan ownership though. Just spouted his usual response. He was asked if fan ownership of any sort, even if it was a small percentage or even just fan representation on the board might be possible in the future. He just gave the answer I've heard before about why it's not financially feasible. Yawn.
I'm glad Holgate is getting nowhere near the Everton team. I thought he was a bit of a ******** when he left
Joe Royle reckons Holgate is progressing really well and will eventually make the first team apparently...
Non of the board did from what I've heard from one of them Barnsley Loyal. That was one things things decision. He should never have let him make a decision at Oakwell.
Aye, it's always great to listen to him, and he's got a great sense of humour hasn't he? As fans, we probably don't appreciate the level of transparency we get from Patrick and Ben and their willingness to speak to fans and fan groups. Speaking to other Supporters' Trusts, we are in the minority. "Never explain, never apologise" is a common position and many clubs don't have any dialogue at all with fan groups.
Basically said he'd had plenty of opportunity but hadn't stepped up. Also that he had been tried at centre half but changed it after shipping 3 goals in 12 minutes...dunno what game it was Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think he does make a fair point though. There's this romantic idea about fan ownership, but there's also a reality that if you own part of the club, you have to own part of the cost. Would enough of our fans be prepared to subsidise that? Given the amount Patrick ploughs Into the club year on year, i can't see it any time soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
