Patrick Cryne, You say you are a Fan???

Then if thats true then you will be aware of what the fans are saying, you have a put in charge a man called Gordon Shepherd who has done more harm to the club in 3 days than any one else previously with uninformed ,financial ineptness and most of all by CRUSHING hope for the direction and succes of Barnsley FC.

Mr Cryne , YOU said we had to have a experienced manager who would uphold your ambition of regaining Premiership football, obviously you now have gone back on your word.

You say the Town should be backing the club as the Football club is what the outside world see at football level, If this is the case then our perception out there is one of total mismanagement and ridicule.

As you have put money into the club Mr Cryne then even you can see the lack of Business sense shown by Mr Shepherd of giving the managers job to a complete novice at the Most Crucial time of the FOOTBALL CLUBS season will spell relegation, any one can see that a manager with experience would have given us a fighting chance but now it seems nailed on that we will be relegated, may be with balanced books but with very few fans.

I can make these comments because i have seen all the games under Mr Davey and can say that Ritchie would have got better results.

To finish off and believe me i could go on for a lot longer i discovered that at the interview stage for the managers shortlist that ALL the candidates were TOLD by Mr Shepherd that the only way people would be considered for the Managers job at Barnsley was if they were willing to have the same backroom staff and basically have a VERY STRONG input from Mr Shepherd and his chief scout about what players are brought in, and by the way the players already ear marked to bring in are non negotiable.

In all Mr Cryne you have with Mr Shepherd put in place a yes man who has no experience except with youngsters, At Wolves yesterday we were inept, lacking commitment and inventivness as we did against QPR and Sheffield, i for one as a 24 year long supporter of this club find myself totally despondent and puzzled as to why YOU let this happen, You Mr Cryne say you are a fan , then listen to the fans for the sake of the future and direction of this club because if you dont and we relegated then it will be all to late and i am sure your faith and hard earned money will go down the sink along with any ambition or future of this club of OURS.

 

It seemed to make sense until

And on what basis would Ritchie have got better results? How do you know? Have you got some magical crystal ball that shows you the effects of an alternative universe?

The bottom line is that whether Ritchie would, or would not, have got better results will always remain an absolute and complete unknown.
