would be mortified if he read this board,This fella has pulled this club up from its boots for people on here to constantly moan and complain about everything he does.If P,C thinks that appointing Don Rowing as a director is good for the club then thats good enough for me.It seems to be the same people time after time who try to find fault with the club.
I'm not sure if the decision with Rowing is good or bad, but just because we are all eternally grateful with Patrick for all he's done, it doesn't mean people should be happy with every decision he makes.
We know somewhere between little and nothing about how the club's run I don't think any of us are qualified to judgePC'sdecisions.

I'm sorry. Don't think you'll have found me knocking Cryne for what he has done for the club and I accept that he has every right to appoint whoever he wants. I think you'll be hard pushed to find a post of mine that has criticised Davey or any of the team either this season. However, I have complained about Rowing on a number of occasios and with good personal reasons because of the attitude he has demonstrated to both myself and others that I know. I'll make my quiet protest and not get a season ticket but I'll be at most of the games and as many away ones as I can (if you think that is nose and face stuff then it isn't quite - I like to sit with my children (ex-season ticket holders uncatered for at Barnsley) whenever they can get to Oakwell). To be honest. I was really heartened by Cryne's interview in the magazine. I can't see how he can square a forward-looking club with Mr "Internet is the worst thig that's ever been invented" Rowing's elevation.
RE: We know somewhere between little and nothing about how the club's run That is true *Windy but given my dealings with Rowing I'm just baffled.
Irrespective...Don Rowing.. seems to me to have a streak of arrogance, lack of customer focus and was (as far as I am aware) responsible for the single biggest ticketting **** up / PR disaster I can remember. If he has been made a director its little surprise its not being well publicised and I for one do not support the decision. However Mr Cryne is in the driving seat and it is his call.
BUT ...since when did the privilage of opinion/freedom of speech end in this country? I too agree that PC has done the club and tarn proud, but never will he please all with each decision...right or wrong each and every follower of BFC has the right of opinion and the right to air that opinion...no one is forced to agree or disagree with the said opinions/views. now "**** off " Don
well... just make sure you don't moan when ticket issues come to light later in the season (hidebehindsofa)
Cryne from Barnsley monthly..... THE FA CUP TICKET ALLOCATION WAS CONTROVERSIAL. WHAT’S YOUR TAKE ON IT? In terms of our administration of the policy, we made fundamental errors in the allocation of tickets for the Liverpool game and I apologise unreservedly to the season ticket holders and other loyal fans that missed going to Anfield through our fault. Our performance in the other games was better, it couldn’t have been worse, but there are still major areas for improvement for the future. Again, we will work more closely with the supporters trust to get things right next season.
So that means he's right about everything and immune from criticism?
I suspect he has a bit more about him than that.
And despite the fact that I think he's one of the best things that's ever happened to this club, I still think he's wrong about Rowing.

Every person on the planet makes mistakes and Elevating Rowing is one of Patrick Cryne`s If that is what has happened!!! Mr Cryne has done some absolutely fantastic things for the Club, but he has got this wrong. If we are not able to disagree with things and should just go along with everything that we are told, then we may as well just be automatons.
