Patrick To Go On Prayer List

Happy Christmas and a Peaceful and Prosperous New Year to my fellow Barnsley supporters.
I attended 9 Lessons and Carols service at St Peter's this evening and afterwards I asked if there was any plans to have anything in place regarding Reverend Preedy, I was told that Father Paul Cartwright was planning on approaching BFC to discuss the idea. I spoke to Father Paul and advised him to approach Linton Brown as Patrick was ill with cancer, he was clearly dismayed at that news and said that Patrick would be put on the prayer list; this means that when there is a service and people are asked to pray for the sick he will be mentioned by name.
I was left with the impression that St Peter's church through Father Paul are very interested in restoring ties with BFC, he had seen on twitter the restoration of Reverend Preedy's grave and had re-tweeted it on to St Peter's twitter account.
