If we sign Anderson on a month's loan on Thursday - 22 Nov (last day possible for loan signings), when will it end? Would he actually be able to play for us at Bristol City on 22 Dec or would he have had to go back by then? I hope he does sign and can play againt Bristol as that would mean we would only be without him for 2 games over Christmas and could sign him again for Scnuthorpe game on 1st Jan.

    Andersen wont be coming back

dont know the rules on registering trialists, but dont think there will be anyone new til January now, not enough time and Davey seems happy to wait (in the Star today). wouldnt rule out a permanent signing or 2 in Jan though.

Don't think we can sign anyone on 1st of Jan as its a bank holiday, certainly won't sign the day before as required by the league as its outside the transfer window.

I don't think it's anyone called saddam or gordon brown. That might help narrow your search a little bit.

    Not really

its the petty snidey little remarks like yours that keep real news off this board. nothing pleases everyone, there's always someone prepared to put a negative spiteful spin on it, the type of people that never get told anything so prefer to spout ***** and therefore spoil it for people who have genuine interest. this is the last place I'd choose to put summat in the public domain, if I knew anything.

    Brilliant....

I'm having tea with Davey tonight - he'll give me some genuine info i'm sure. I don't know whether i'll pass it on tomorrow though, because some people might not like it.

In fact i'll sit on it, then when we sign someone in Jan, i'll tell everyone that I knew about it in November.

I'm ace, me. (zzz) (zzz) (zzz)

    to answer your question.........

he's had 60 days so far-he's allowed a maximum of 93 -only extendable under "exceptional circumstances-eg all of our midfielders have been struck down by the clap-that sort of thing!"

so he's allowed 33 more days-so if he joined on Thursday 22nd-the deadline for loans until transfer window opens on Jan 1st - he could stay for 8 days in November and 25 in December-so he could play at Bristol but not on Boxing Day
