I can almost hear the plink plonking on the keyboard from where I sit in sunny Carlton

I never knew you lived in Carlton, mate. Should have said, before I flitted.

    Barnsley Player interview.

He says everything about Gazza he idolised. As a player and as a character.

He also said that he went to the cinema with the missus to watch 'Impossible' and they both cried all the way through it. Said at £6 it was a bargain, well worth it, and he wants us to come away on Saturday night feeling the same, that the lads made the day out worth it.

Reckons he had a dream Tuesday night, that we drew the game, and says he'd love to bring City back for a replay, to give the Barnsley public another memory, a chance to see world stars etc.

The Perkins interview was decent, too. His favourite player was Ian Rush, and now he lives in Tarn he was asked if he was loving it here, and he said "..it's alright, but I wouldn't go that far.."

The debrief video was good, too. Bit of an insight into team talks etc, although I'm sure they're a tad different when there isn't a camera rolling.
Martin Scott was bang on though - we need to stop playing short and back early on, and get balls into the box early, test them out.

Worth the subscription, once you get the videos to stop skipping like a fcukin kangaroo.

My favourite Gazza footballing moment has got to be that goal against Scotland where he flicks the ball over Colin Hendry's head and then rifles it home when it drops from about 18 yards. Proper top class goal.

I was there mate, superb goal, great match, great tournament.

I lived just down the Met Line from Wembley at Pinner at the time. Me & a mate got 2 tickets all the England games to the final.

Gazza's goal against the Scots, Psycho's penalty redemption v Spain, out "total footballing" the Dutch, losing on pens to the Germans in the Semi, it was unbelievable.

Sold our final tickets to a Czech lad that paid for the rest of the tournament, so it was in effect, free!

Jealous as ****. It was a great tournament with a great performance from England. Gazza was different class. Psycho nearly made me cry with his celebration after that pen. I watched it all in the pub, great atmosphere in there too.

Did you do the "dentists chair" celebration though? Schoolboy error if not, that's what the photographers wanted!

No, I just got on with the match. It was an average goal by my standards.
