I think someone posted on here that he is a good judge of a player but can't manage them very well-would tend to agree with that point of view-his main success was as youth coach at Leeds

    Good point

At least 4 of them are key players to team this season

When McPhail is on song & Carbon is fit they too are excellent

Good judge of players old Harty,we now have a nice mix of his good signings and Ritchie's quality shrewd signings

Together we have an almighty side for this divison and still the boy Kell to return

We are looking tasty and the talk of the office at work

Agree. He signed some good players - Shuker, Mcphail, Burns Colgan, Reid, Carbon, Hassell etc - but he couldnt get them to perform to their potential.
Ritchie has added to the squad by signing some quality players, most notably - Devaney (God) and Hayes. Both steals in my opinion.
We have always had quality players but we havent had the manager to motivate them and get them to perform. Ritchie is the man and the players want to perform under him.
    Bring on the Championship.

I said most notable Devaney and Hayes because they are our top 2 goalscorers and are on fire at the minute. Yes Howard has been brilliant too.

Isn't Shuks top scorer this season with 8 league goals?
