The Board of Rushden and Diamonds Supporters' Trust are pleased to announce that Paul Hart has been appointed as the manager of Rushden and Diamonds Football Club.

Paul is an experienced manager who followed an impressive 16 year playing career, at clubs such as Leeds United and Nottingham Forest, by managing Chesterfield for three years.  He then successfully coached the youth sides at both Forest and Leeds before being appointed first team manager at Nottingham Forest in 2001, where he stayed until 2004.  He was then manager at Barnsley until 2005.

In February of this year, Paul came to the Diamonds on a part-time, voluntary and casual basis to assist the management team at Nene Park.

The Board are delighted that a manager of Paul's calibre and experience has agreed to join the Club and look forward to success for the team under his management.
