I admit that while he was our manager I was very vocal in expressing my wishes to have him sacked and I would dare say he would not have been anywhere near my Xmas card list at the time but since he has been manager of Portsmouth I have really warmed to him. I personally think he has done a pretty good job under the circumstances there last season and this and yet I heard this morning that he is very likely to be sacked now that the new takeover has happened. I hope he isn’t as I think he deserves a fair crack of the whip but it looks likely that he wont get it.
    Good luck Paul whatever happens.

I think he is the luckiest man in English football who has poxed a job far above the level he is suited to

Let's not forget he was sacked from his last job in the Conference so what is he doing in the Premiership?

I bet he's counting his lucky stars in private

I met him when he was our Manager and found him a pleasant guy to talk to. He did an excellent job at Forest, and made them a lot of money in the tranfer market.

First of all people defending K.O. now sympathy for Paul Hart!</p>

Does anyone think Chris Morgan is a misunderstood, cultured player?

Maybe so but he doesnt deserve the sack at Pompey. Whatever his shortfalls he was given the job at Pompey and so far isnt doing a bad job under the circumstances.

I take it you're joking about Morgan. Sympathy for Paul Hart is only for his current situation, i didnt say he was harhly treated by us. He deserved to be sacked and i was glad when he was but he doesnt deserve the sack, if he gets it, at Pompey.

Hart is the second-worst manager in my time watching Barnsley (since 1994.)

You can guess who heads that particular table - but Hart isn't far behind him in terms of ineptitude.

Fola Onibuje, Tom Williams, Tony Vaughan, Barry Conlon. Great stuff.

To be fair i suppose asking a ******** to read and understand what has been written is too much to expect. Black and white eh? (wnkr)

    2nd worst manager?

All 3 mentioned by the Mannster were far worse than Hart - not that that is a great compliment

He did sign some decent players as well - dont forget it was his team that Ritchie took on to promotion so he wasnt completely useless

Still wasnt sorry when he went mind

Every time you reply you seem to be confrontational without any reason. I cant remember a post where you have been constructive within the contect of the subject. Personally I find you quite childish and deliberately antagonistic.
Rather than the smug responses i'd prefer it if you just passed by without comment and i'll do the same to your posts. I'm sure i can live without discussing the lyrics to Ant and Dec songs.

To me, Paul Hart seemed less and less interested in the job as time went on. Didn't we bring him out of 'retirement'? Hadn't he got used to not working and we 'dragged' him back into football? He seemed bored and irritated as time went on at Oakwell.
