Hayes tribunal given September date Story by Chris Mumby 26 July 2005 The Football League will not decide how much Barnsley have to pay United for striker Paul Hayes until Monday September 5, almost four months after his signing was completed. The Iron have turned down three offers from the Tykes so far as they look for a six-figure fee. A venue for the tribunal is yet to be decided. Boss Brian Laws told the Scnuthorpe Telegraph: "It's disappointing that we have to wait until September for the tribunal, but there is nothing we can do about it. "The chairman has told me there is some money to spend now if I feel I need it. "I am monitoring the situation, but it's being done in a calm way, there is no need for panic." Laws may add one more face to the squad before the season opener at Brentford a week on Saturday.
