But what did Nardiello do when he came on? Absolutely nothing. We looked a better TEAM with Hayes on the pitch.

Andy gray made a good point today about Kevin Davies at Bolton - he's scored FOUR league goals this year but his worth to the team is more than goals. Hayes has eight assists this year added to the goals he has scored that's a pretty decent return. Thought he looked good in the first half and he Nardiello certainly wouldn't have chased the ball down like Hayes did in the corner. The white Dave Regis is giving him too much credit - behave. regis isn't fit to lace hayes's boots!
Agree but our failing is not having another cf who regularly finds the net.</p> Mid season devaney, shuker & richards were hitting the net.</p> Now although we do have a good team we lack the cutting edge to take us up.</p>
RE: Agree but What's richards strike rate from his starts one in two? that's not too bad either. Some penalties agreed but you still have to put them away. It's not the strikers that need examining - the midfield as you said have not been weighing in either and to be honest our two wide men haven't been in any decent form consistently for ages. Shuker seems low on confidence - we need him on top form if we are to get through this

Shuker has been poor for last 7/8 games I used to admire him simply for his work rate. Put most of the team to shame last season.</p> However we cannot carry on with a winger who cannot cross a ball.</p> Should have been dropped a few games ago.</p>
