How many of these **** footballers have come back to haunt us. 1. Rory Fallon, Jon Parkin, Andy Liddell, glynn hurst, luke beckett, kevin gallen, and god knows how many more were all released with the not good enough tag and have gone on to score against us. He wasnt the worst player ive ever seen if he was given the ball to his feet.
seriously though, he was a poser who didnt work hard enough and it show how neglect of skillful and talented players in recent years if he was being considered as being one of the most skillful and exciting players we have had. typical turn up and collect your wages player who promised a lot, delivered nothing and showed no loyalty to a club that put a lot of faith in him
League 1 footballer, cant compare him to the players in Wilson or Bassetts teams, but did a job last season for me.
Wouldn't have said that liddel was /poo - he couldn't get first team football. Hayes is a good player but his level is probably the 1st division
Hayes lacked the strength and attitude to perform in this league.... Personally thought he would be one of the players to shine this season when we got promoted. He isn't a 'out and out' striker BUT I feel he still could have played a part on the wing for us.
