most on here earn 100 - 600 week he probably gets paid ( not earns) 1500-2000 week i would pay him 400 week it is about time that average players like him met reality . after all if his employers offer is so bad he would leave and find another job if he is so good at his job. Please move on its an open market just like the other 900,000 unemployed tend to find out. PS PAUL WE THE FANS PAY YOUR WAGE .
I think you'll find he's trying to do his job, but they don't want him to do it at BFC . BFC just want to make a few bob out of him before he goes.
I can fully understand why we are doing it. I can also understand Hayes' frustration at not being allowed to do his job by someone who clearly does not want him. It ain't Hayes' fault, he just wants to play and Mrx was having a go at him personally.
I dont think he was Hayes has said the contract offer is derisory. I bet he's on a decent crack for a player that is unlikely to figure regularly in a championship side and we must have offered him at least the same again. As mrx rightly points out 1500 quid a week is far from derisory for a player that has failed to establish himself. What Hayes has probably got the bag on abart is the fact that the money we will get for him he will be unable to get in his own pocket as he would if he could go for free. He made similar noises when he left Scnuthorpe in the first place.
too right, if he's been offered the same money as a reserve as he was paid as a first teamer hardly seems derisory
RE: I dont think he was the guys a waster forget about him,if i was scunny i wouldn,t touch him with a barge pole after what he said about them when he left!
and if he accepted it? He's not wanted, it's purely a game of bluff. He doesn't get on with SD who doesn't want him, end of.
No worse than Hayter, He`s younger too. Hayter just sold for £200,000, should get something for Hayes then.
According to the rules..... Barnsley have to offer Hayes the same contract he was on before to gain a transfer fee for him. If the offer is so bad then why did he leave Scnuthorpe and sign the contract two years ago......and no doubt had a clause upping the wage on promotion. He'll have to drop down a division to get a game - he needs to realise there are better players than him out of contract in July. Personally i'd sign it to make sure I'd got a wage coming in then go on loan.
