Will people now accept he is **** We must have the worst strike partnership in the entire football league
is that strike as in not working?? only Vale and Bradford in the top half have scored less than us-midfielders have scored 2 more than the 4 strikers-only one goal from a defender-RW played midfield when he scored-(league goals)
stop whinging, so he had a bad game who doesn't and they doubled up on Richrads all game long, but if it was Nards who played like that i bet he everyone would have a few excuses for him seem as though he is the golden boy?
now am not saying that Saturday was his best game, but when on form he makes good runs in behind the defence and he drops off to link with the midfield, and his work rate is much better than Nards, for example if he loses the ball he'll track back!
Tracking back ain't everything. I think Nardiello would have put away at least one of the chances that fell to Hayes and Richards on Saturday.
It's down to man management with Nardiello.

RE: Poor Attack A little surprising considering that we have more shots on target than any other team in the league, according to the statisticians. Maybe that little bit of luck is missing with regard to the main target being the back of the net.
but it is a team game, and personal glory should come second!? Maybe Nards would of put one away, maybe not? Maybe hayes would of scored the pen on the first game of the season who knows? At the end of last season fans moaned that he was missing sitters! Nards is probably a better finisher but why is man management the key? What if Hayes went on to score 20 for the season? would he still be *****? no everyone would love him, and it is easy to criticise players when they are not playing well (like me with Nards), biggest example is Chopra last season!
RE: but it is a I'd just like to see Nads get a decent run in the team. Even if he has a few poor games, keep him in and let's see what type of striker we've got. If he's any good then great, we'll have a striker in the side scoring goals. If he can't perform then at least everyone knows and the manager can get rid and find a replacement. At the start of the season Conlon was given nine matches in a row to find his form. He only scored one goal, had a few poor games, but the manager kept faith with him. Hayes has started all 18 of our league games this season, but he's only scored 4 goals, had a few poor games, but the manager has kept faith with him. Richards is now getting a run in the side, the manager is showing faith in him. Good for Ritchie, he's prepared to give his players time. I just wonder why Nardiello is not treated the same? If Nardi has one poor game he's straight out of the side. That doesn't do him any good. It breaks his confidence, so he's less likely to perform the next time we see him. Nardiello has 16 goals from 30 league starts for us. A player with those stats deserves a run in the side to show exactly what he can offer us. If he's not going to get that, why did we sign him?
Garbage Hayes is a good player in a bad run. Richards is a carthorse on a good run. anyone who thinks any different is just wrong.
RE: Garbage I think both of them are fairly limited footballers. In fairness to them both though Rovrum defended deep ...and well. They never got a second on the ball and for most of the game they had to deal with aimless balls to their heads from our centre backs. Richards - Works hard. No quality, headless chicken. Hayes - Poor touch, no strength, likely to bag goals if he finds space behind the back 4.
Hayes is capable, we've seen that doesnt turn into a bad player over night. not doubting Richards work rate, but he's not going to score enough from what I've seen so far.
RE: Err.... i take it all the people involved in this conversation were ronaldinho in there days. and have room to talk! as ull all notice its different when your on the pitch!! cheers
