Been linked to QPR this week, but also said during the Man Utd game this week that he had been approached this week by a nearby side but he wasn't interested at present. Doubt it was us but would people want him to manage us?

Wouldn'y be a bad idea but QPR have already had 3 managers this season? Thats bloody rediculous, Roy Keane has said he'drop back down to Championship level to manage again, wouldn't he interest a few? He'd definetely give the players a kick up the back side for sure.

    Keano would be my choice

Wouldn't take any crap on the field and would be honest about what he sees

    Exactly............

He wants to prove himself as a manager, Barnsley would be the perfect club to come to.

I reckon his wages would be the stopper though

I somehow think he would be a bit pricey, and we do not do pricey, unless you hadn't noticed

He's a Howard Wilkinson clone. He's very dull. If you don't think that Simon Davy inspires this group of players, I'm not sure that Cotterill will!

as long as I have been following BFC we have ALWAYS had that small time attitude....aim low, hit low..aim high, hit high...simple as that

Paul Ince saved Macclesfield from the Conference when they looked doomed. He took MK Dons up to League One at the first attempt and they won the Johnstone Paint Trophy. He then got shafted by Blackburn after a dozen games. His "experienced" replacement has hardly excelled as Blackburn are still in the danger zone. I agree with DB3k that his records looks pretty good. He appears to be able to motivate a team, a topic mentioned on here once or twice!

If Keane came to manage Barnsley, I think I'd lose interest in the team. I cannot even begin to express my hatred towards him, absolute scum. World class footballer, but complete lovely person.

Hated by his entire team at Sunderland wasn't he?
