Why would you not? Good record with the exception of Blackburn. High profile, might get a few bums on seats, better contacts than the last manager at a guess and I'd like to think the talk of punching abofve our weight would stop. Even if it is true.
He did well early on, but after Blackburn....I suppose he got the record at Notts County for the most consecutive defeats, so he has something in common with Mr Hill.
He did, got sacked after losing 9 in a row. But that said he won 10 out of his first 20 games and only lost 3. 36 points from his first 20 matches would do me now! Wonder what happend to cause the dramatic loss of form?
A little after the Sven/Sol Campbell debacle. Blackburn going round the bend too and I don't count MK Dons as a legitimate football club. Ince has a record of making bad choices rather than bad management. I hope we can be the latest one! I'm just happy to agree with Redstar on something.
He was not my first choice, or even my second but of the managers left I don't think he is a bad shout. I'd be happy for him to be given a go.
Paul Ince on Sky, has been playing golf but is ready to come back into football. HE LEFT Blackburn because they would not invest in new players Another manager who gets out of **** by spending a load of the Owners money. He could not manage even then. He certainly will not and I hope not take our job. Never ever been a good manager.
