Apparently Norwich have refused him permission to speak to Villa and has tonight Resigned as Norwich Manager
I don’t think that argument can be applied to top flight football anymore - not in most cases anyway.
LOL theres a big norwich fan at work and he was confident he wouldn't leave. Though when discussing it the other day everyone was of the opinion that at the moment moving to Villa would be a bod move
Depends, l wouldn't have my old job back for more money. It wouldn't compensate for stress, long hours, workloads, more pressure etc. Its not as simple as the money aspect. He's built himself a good reputation at Norwich as a good up and coming young manager, he may crumble in one season at Villa and be managing MK Dons in no time at all, remember Paul Ince?
But when we're thinking about a change of job for a higher salary we are usually talking a few thousand per year. Now if the rise was ten thousand plus per week it would be a different matter!
The irony of them not allowing him to speak to a bigger more established club after all he's achieved there and with how they got him in the first place.
