    i agree mate, its not reids fault he gets picked, just doing his job. To be fair he is **** though

    and on the flip side

    having a player with little confidence as captain makes it worse for the team

    hence why howie should be given the role - even when we're losing he doesn't give up.

    Why would you want to boo one of your own players even if you thought there were better players available? I suppose the answer is they were booing Davey and his selection, not Reid directly. Still doesn't make it any more palletable for Reid though. Booing should be reserved for opposition players who foul, cheat, antagonise the crowd etc.

    You took the words right out of my mouth. Maybe they are booing the SELECTOR rather than the SELECTED.
