thought he was great when he first came, but then he was playing in midfield...... in defence I have a number of problems with him, firstly communication! he often goes for same ball as colgan, or other defenders and panics far to often. I think championship is one step to far for him as a centre half anyway!

Final point, he isn't captain material for me either! I would have Kay or Hassel, or Wallwork if he makes it back to oakwell!

    what does anyone else think?

    RE: Harsh

i agree on the point about going for the same ball as other players its happened a few times..however he is most definatly captain material when you look at the squad he stands out more than anyone else as some one who can captain a side (hassell is pretty quiet and kay isnt really experienced enough although he will be a awesome captain one day and should be captain on saturday providing reid isnt fit and he doesnt have the normal derby head on him e.g doncaster)

I have to agree there matey. I have thought it for quite a while now. League One is his level IMO, and thought it last season. We had a poor defence and he was captain. Had it not been for the awful strikers in that league there is no way we would have been promoted. I do think he is capable of being captain, but not in this league. Again, decent League One captain, but I think Kay firstly and Bobby secondly are better options.
