Same situation - rot set in well before Sturrock was appointed. Those in charge during two back to back relegations remain in tact.
How is that the same situation? Sturrock had no money snd is managing a club who are at very best lower L2 level. Johnson on the other hand has been heavily backed and is managing one of the bigger clubs in the league. Sturrock wasnt also lucky enough to inherit a squad with some of the better young players in the league. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Look at the amount of signings HE'S made, loan or not. The fact we've used 30+ players this season. Winnall, Scowen, Bree, Davies to name a few, sure many would put Hourihane in there too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You believe Adam Davies is one of the best young players in this league? Really? Bree is 18 - apologies. Will be great IMHO but just because you're a good young lad in L1 doesn't mean you're effective just yet. Agree with Sam Winnall. Agree with Scowen. Agree with Hourihane. What about the other 8 laikers? You see my point. And RE money being spent, the exact words of our CEO on Thursday night - 'Finance isn't the Head Coach's responsibility'.
Do you think we have the worst squad in division? You've seen plenty of sides this season and most of them are dogger. Are we the worst of the lot or should we be higher in the table?
It may not be his responsibility but its still been spent securing HIS choice of player. I think he's made a couple of decent signings but for the most part, pretty poor and in some instances appalling and we are now saying 'lets give him the chance to turn it round in january'. So we should trust him to get right the MASSIVE **** ups he made in the summer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just maybe not sacking Johnson is the start of defying the stupid convention that you have less than a calendar year to revolutionise a club
This clown running a revolution?? Hahahaha now that is some imagination youve got. You do know we are sat 24th in League 1? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think it's weak as piss. I think it'll get better because it's young & talented but talent means f.ck all in mens football. You need graft & nous. We've got very little.
How do you know it's his choice? Very apparent that he's been after some experience since he came in. If it's his choice, why haven't any experienced pros come in?
To be honest I don't think there's much talent in the squad at all but there isn't in many others I've seen this season.
Who says he wanted experience? From what I've seen and heard from him he was very happy with the business in the summer, telling us Crowley would be one of the best players in L1 for starters. Getting rid of any bit of experience we had in Bailey, Cranie (whether he could afford to keep him I dunno) Llalkovic who's been around a bit etc so experience obviously wasnt high on his agenda. Only now things are looking bleak have I heard he wants more experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He said he did. From the start. He's also repeated it time & time again. I even f.cking asked him face to face in a room full of 40 blokes last week.
Only got 4 players who would interest a top 6 team even in this division.Hammill,Scow en, Hourihane and a fit Williams. Rest are young with a bit of potential or just not good enough. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
