Paul Turner and David Sam Yates

    As a few of you on here know, I am trying to get the who's who of Barnsley FC autographed by as many players as possible. I am having trouble finding these two players and wonder if anybody on here knows them.
    Paul Turner used to have The Gate inn at dodworth and David Yates used to live in Birdwell and I have heard he may be a taxi driver in Barnsley
    Any help would be appreciated

    Have you tried typing their names in to Wikipedia? Long shot, but worth a try.

    I used to do Sam Yates books. I think he may have moved to Spain. I know his niece so ill ask her.

    I will bump this up for a few days if its ok. So far I have 291 autographs in the book and I have had a photo taken with every one of them except Winston Campbell who said he was too scruffy and Andy Kiwomya who was in the bath and I had to pass the book up through the bathroom window for him to sign lol

    I'm sure I've asked you but

    What's the maximum you could achieve i.e.

    How many living players are there that havent signed

    when the book came out there was 541 living players. Two were unable to sign due to illness so that leaves 539. Two have since died but I have been to see them. All the players since the book came out I havent counted

    Get all my info off Wayne, i heard yates is living in thailand. He came over recently for a funeral of bloke that got killed on Stocksbridge bypass
