Promotion hero was back at Oakwell on Saturday. Presumably watching Norwich City youngster Louis Thomson who came on in second half for Swindon. As deft headers go, Nyatangas was good. Wilko's was better.
Shame the club didn't use that to get him on pitch at HT Would've been nice to see him get an ovation instead a of finding out 2 days too late
Wilko was there in a professional capacity on Saturday so probably not the best time for that sort of thing. I think it would be nice to see the 1996/7 side back in the 16/17 season in that capacity, to celebrate 20 years since their promotion. Better if they were all guests of honour at a particular game e.g. if we play Bradford in 16/17 season, that would be particularly fitting. They can all get the ovation their achievement deserves as it still stands as the greatest thing our club has ever done. Whether or not Danny would accept the invitation is anyone's guess.
