It's all very well that lot in Westminster saying that pay rises should be no more than inflation, but could someone tell me when the politicians received a pay increase LESS than inflation. Plus they get 'expenses' for which they do not have to produce a receipt unless the amount is greater that £500!!!!!!
I know they recently give THEMSELVES (Yes they get to vote on their own package. It's like turkey's voting for Christmas, sorry ladies and gents it's cancelled this year)
The best gold plated, bells and whistles, final salary, pension scheme that somebody else's money can buy. At the same time as they are cutting local government pension schemes. We are all in the wrong job, and they are taking us for mugs.
p.s. I see nothing wrong with moving public sector pesnion schemes away from final salary it's the way the market is going ... it's jut the hypocracy of taking it away from others and giving it to yourselves ... and a (so called) 'labour' government as well. I'm also not a Tory.

LOL as if.... Still the Euro MP's are even better - have an incredibly generous travel allowance to attend meetings in Brussels Stazburg - then they make much cheaper travel arrangements but keep the difference - all tax free Strangely that doesnt work for the likes of us - I cant say it costs £1000 pounds to travel to Norway and £500 to stay in a hotel and claim it even if I get a £300 flight and £100 hotel. I need receipts and can only claim what I spend
