Paypal is usually fine. Have used it loads without any problems. Just ignore any emails you get saying we need to verify your account settings because they are usually spam, just trying to con your details.

I think if you sign up with a credit card you have to put a small amount through, a  few pence or summat. Then you get a code on your credit card bill which you have to use to verify your paypal account. It can take about a week or summat, so make sure that you have enough time to set all this up, or check with the seller that they dont mind waiting while you do it.

    It's ok but it's slooooooow.

If you don't have an account with funds already in you'll have to be prepared to wait a bit.

If it's an item of clothing you're bidding on you might be as well walking there and paying in cash so you stand a chance of it still being in fashion by the time you get it.

I use it to buy and sell and couldn't agree more. I have considered closing my account because of some of the things they have done but if you do want to trade to any extent on Ebay then it is really the only way.

yeah, me too - i think there's a few alternatives but obviously it reduces sales as people cant be arsed to sign up to others.

Yeah but even before you are confirmed you can spend up to $500 or summat.

Never had any problems as a buyer using paypal but asa seller it costs you a commission so add extra on to the item or postage to cover it.

    RE: Paypal & emails

If you get ANY emails from Paypal after you have joined, forward them straight back to spoof@paypal.co.uk there are some really authentic ones going round . They are a bit of a pain, Im getting 2 and 3 a day from different hoaxers.........
