Is there any way I can copy and paste the contents of a folder into Microsoft Word?</p>

Every time I try to do it, PC freezes and all action has to be terminated.</p>

    TIA</p>

You mean, as in a list of the folder?

If it was a macintosh, then it would work (as a list), but you'll need some third party software to produce a folder list as text.

Or you could do it from a DOS prompt.

CD to the directory and 'DIR > c:\list.txt'

This is what I'm trying to do

I have burnt a load of MP3 files from a folderonto a disc which will play in an MP3 player.</p>

What I want to do now is create a separate list of the songson the disc to put with it. The easiest way would be just to copy and paste the file list contents onto a sheet and print it off, but I can't seem to do this.</p>

If I can't then it looks like typing them all out onto a sheet, and there's an awful lot.I just wondered if there was another way.</p>

I suppose you could press the print screen button, and paste into a word document, then crop the image to make it look like a list, if you get my meaning.

    use a mp3 tag editor

This will let you import all the file names into an excel spreadsheet
