    RE: Why ???

Because I think that Cryne is the man in charge, he was the one instigating the sacking of Ritchie and forcing Shepherd into it....therefore Shepherd's position has become as untenable as Ritchie's had become.

Only because they appear to be saying different things.

PC's mantra is that he wants to use the Academy, Gordo knows if we go down that route he is the one who will get the wrath from the fans.</p>

You're too bright to understand. You see, running a business isn't like running a football club. But seeing as you probably aint had experience of either then you wouldn't understand.

RE: Ohhhh.......... yes yes yes yes...............foooking NO !!!!

Cryne on the radio giving interviews when he has been previous media shy? Why wasn't the chairman giving the interviews to Radio Sheffield.

Of course its all "I think" - it's opinion, as I stated an opinion that I thought Shepherd should go. Nobody on here will know what really went on.

    RE: Why ???

I agree I think the sacking was instigated by Mr Cryne.

If not, why him and not Mr Shepherd speaking about it to the media?

Mr Cryne hates publicity, shuns the limelight - so why was it him upfront - and more to the point where was/is Mr Shepherd? Not a peep out of him yet.

But seeing as you probably aint had experience of either.......oooops, yer wrong again

And is this what you call a few notes
One bleeding line, or was it two lines (chinny)

As for business and Shep.....I have been saying for about a year that I wonder if Shep has enough knowledge of football business
But that int a point to sack him
Thats a point to bring someone else in who knows football......a proper manager would be a good start

Would you want a manager who picks and chooses who we sign?

Or do you just want a coach who tries to get the best out of what he is provided with?

Try using a bit of common.................and have a bob on Shep and Pat to get things right

Rift exists between Chairman and manager
Owner knows exactly what is happening so to protect the chairman from wrongful accusations the owner steps in to put the record straight and support the chairman in his actions
Hence, the owner having to take the unusual step and intervene, when he has said all along that he wants to be distant from the day to day running of the club
    Exit Ritchie
