PC help please...

    ...cos I'm about ready to throw the 'kin thing.

    All of a sudden it seems that I can access some websites but not others. Virus/spyware scans all up to date, registry cleaned regularly, etc. Only thing I can think it might be is that I quarantined a file in Ad-Aware SE (killproc.exe) but other than that nothing has changed.

    Any help much obliged (Y)

    Killproc.exe is a hacker file, that wants to be off your PC for sure. Have you altered any settings that would block certain sites? Or some google type pop up blocker going mad on you?

    Not changed anything. Thought it might be Zonealarm pop-up blocker but I've taken that off and it's just the same. Tried Firefox and that doesn't work either. I just want to set fire to it.

    when you say you can access some websites instead of others, what do you mean?

    404 errors? time outs?
