PC security

    I an trying to sort out my girlfriends laptop so need the full suite of security software, firewall anti virus etc.

    What shall I do, download from the net? If so what? Or buy myself a copy of norton etc?

    Personally I'd download from the net

    AVG free antivirus
    Superantispyware as the anti adware and spyware
    along with windows defender (there is a free AVG one as well but never used it)

    I just use Windows firewall if not behind a hardware firewall on a router though Kerio is a good easy to use free firewall

    But if I was looking for a new solution Kapersky labs is HIGHLY recommended by my IT Security candidates.</p>
