PC sound/speaker problem - help?

    I've got speakers plugged into my laptop... working perfectly last night.

    Turn computer on today, and it says 'no audio output device is installed.'

    Only thing that's happened was the 'updates' that took place when I shut down last night as they do every now and again.

    Any ideas?

    Just do system restore

    to last night or the night before.

    click on start, then all programmes, then accessories , then system tools....should be there matey.

    aye I know...its been allday tho' and thats the worry

    I mean this morning, I helped a little old lady across the road..and took her all the way, normally I leave em in the middle.This aft I got this little lasses kitten down from a tree...WITHOUT MI CROSSBOW.
