Can get picture but no sound when streaming from the PC to the TV. Set up is as follows: For video - DVI to HDMI cable from PC's graphics card to the HDMI 2 port of a Samsung LCD TV For audio - 3.5mm jack plug to 2 x RCA plugs (red & white) from the PC's sound card (via a splitter) to the matching L & R Audio ports for the HDMI 2 port of the Samsung LCD TV. I've tried the audio cable straight into the sound card without the splitter as well. Anyone any ideas?
Have you Been into the Control Panel > Sound and made sure you're outputting to the right option.</p> I have </p> HDMI</p> Relatek (RCA)</p> ... and some others</p> and some other options, so when I changed from HDMI and pluged in a speaker usingSPDIF I have to change the output option in control panel</p>
RE: Have you Can find S/PDIF referred to in my sound settings. The output options seem to be: No Output Output Digital only Output Digital/Analogue S/PDIF In to S/PDIF Out Pass Through Mode None of them seem to make a difference.
Gotcha Need to update the driver on my video card, as it is making the TV think it is also producing a digital audio signal.
