Wish we had Redfearn back - you just knew his pens were going in. JCR has got away with a couple of dodgy ones previously. His run up today was too short & straight - makes it more difficult to get it into the corners. From the minute he lined it up I knew he's miss. Can't Journo tyke come on & show him a thing or two.??
Haha You haven't seen my attempt at crossbar challenge today - absolutely dreadful, though on a par with 80% of the other attempts. At least I had the excuse of hardly been able to walk. However, on a more serious note... just blast the bugger, I hate penalties like that. Sp easy to save if you go the right way.
Redfearn redders missed loads of penalties...at least 3 in the promotion season alone...neil thompson took over him later in season...just made me realise how many penalties we did get that year!
craig hignett for me. maybe we could sign a 'penalty only' player and keep him on the bench til we get a pen then sub him, and sub him back after he's taken it. cos it doesn't look like we've got much else going for us.
