Had we scored from the penalty I feel the game would have changed completely.Sheff Utd had the whole team behind the ball and we're on the backfoot at that time. However we can't keep making excuses forever and either our luck or management needs to change soon.At the bottom of he table and looking up. Keep being told that we are a talented squad bla, bla, bla. But the season is approaching the half way mark and league 2 is beckoning. So come on you reds show some Barnsley grit and push on from now.!!!
I know it's hard to pick yourself off the floor when you find your team bottom of the league and things are bleak but...you have to keep positive as do the players otherwise you are defeated before you even take to the pitch.
Well you may be right, but there were plenty on here who wanted Dw out and Lj was the best thing since sliced bread. IMO we need to appoint an experienced manager who is given money to get us out of the bottom four in the short term and then press on from there but you and I know it isn't going to happen....sadly.
I must agree. I would have preferred to keep the caretakers until the end of the season, and appointed then.
With the correct manager at the helm we can climb the table. Look at the Black Cats, they were really in the mire but they changed things and got the correct man for the job in, hence the improvement in recent results
Are there any "correct managers" interested or even available right now though? Hiring a new manager is always a gamble... and we're not very good gamblers I suppose! I wouldn't be too sad if LJ got sacked (our current form is shocking and nobody can deny that!) but I don't want us to sack him just so that we can hire someone else who isn't any better.
Also Doncaster , now Rotherham , . Although some managers are just crap. Newcastle Chesterfield. And more
