    belay that its a free kick on the edge,,,, ref seemed to point at the spot tho' sorry to get yer worried.

    foul on the edge of the box but the way the ref gestured I thought he had pointed to the spot...sorry

    Sunderland player was looking for the foul but I thought it looked like he would get there before Davies and he was in front of Lindsay who was the last man. Watched it back again and see what you are saying about Davies, but there was no way he would have got to the ball first

    I'm in the east upper (family stand) right alongside where it happened. Well a bit further into the box so not quite adjacent but a decent sight of it nonetheless.

    I thought it looked close to being in the box and last man but wasn't convinced it was a foul.

    Lino had a think, didn't flag straight away. I reckon they maybe gave half a decision as it was only half a foul.

    Another day another ref that'd have been a peno and another red for a centre back
