That followed Barnsley to start, went to watch Sheff Wed in the years when Waddle played for them etc, then meandered back to become Oakwell regulars.
I'd rather have a fortnight's holiday on a council estate with Gary Glitter than associate with that sort.

What about these "friends" of mine ... support Wednesday, but can't be arsed going to Charlton away. They have decided to come drinking pre match in Barnsley (v Norwich), and are going to pay to go & cheer Norwich on ... and then out on the lash in Barnsley. .... and Wednesday fans would have you believe they don't have a rivalry with us.
RE: What about these "friends" of mine Take them in the mount or Courthouse pre match and when they get settled announce to the pub what they are
I wouldn't associate with em... cannot stand Pigs. what about this October 4th, Pikeys at home...Donny in-laws want to come for a friendly pre-match pint (inc Girlfriend) l've told them to F*ck off, on this day we are strangers and enemies, I'm sleeping at my mothers that night.
I first started coming to watch the reds when I was about 8 year old. I came with my mate and his dad. After a couple of years going, he decided to become a Wednesday fan (around the time they were top flight/ Rumbelows cup final days etc). What a CLOWN . I aint spoke to him since. (clown)
And you wonder why I don't like the scum? Exactly same, they store their shirts right at the back of the wardrobe gathering dust, claiming to really be a rugby fan (until that goes tits up 'en all). Then when a big day out is on the horizon (like Wembley), suddenly every tom, dick and harry in Wakefield is wearing the ******* thing banging on about the good old days. Infuriating!
Nowt wrong with supporting your local rivals opposition though
I'd happily go to Bellend Road and support whoever the scum Barstewards are playing, so long as there's no BFC game.

Bolton away when they were relegated from the prem I was there, got the ticket framed on my wall. Balling their eyes out on the way home down the M62 - classic moment never to be forgotten!
It was more the hopping from team to team I find offensive. The fact they come from Barnsley just adds to my ire.
RE: Then we'd have 218,000 supporters. nt I might have to become Chengdu Blade or something having been made in China.
