"It gets results but its not great to watch" well let me tell you something rather watch that then what I've seen so far this season. Its awful players looking shadows of how they were last season. We look like relegation fodder from what I've seen so far this season.
You've got to give him time. I said all along we'll miss Alex loads this season and to not have Benson in midfield either doesn't help matters. I just want to have a manager longer than a season in this league!
The fact he isn’t getting the basics right is somewhat a concern, still being stubborn trying to play a style football these players clearly can’t!
I'll go along with Red Helen. Schopp needs time. Today hasn't been good but we are beset by injuries and have lost key players. They're streets ahead of us and definite Championship contenders. It's been painful to watch today but hopefully lessons will be learned.
Britain,styles,helik,woodrow have all gone backwards under schopp. Today not a shot on target he would be a good rugby coach as he loves us playing backwards passes.
Won't happen while the people running the club at the moment are running the club. Do badly manger sacked do well and there's a nice little release clause just waiting to be met and manager leaves. There's no continuity from one season to the next.
Some people were moaning about Woodrow last season. Helik has looked solid to me in the games I've watched so far this season, and that's without his regular pairing in Anderson. Last season was odd. Val could yell his instructions in an empty stadium. This season players are going to have to learn to think for themselves more and as we have so many youngsters this will take time. I wish we'd got an experienced midfielder in for Alex but given that we haven't we will struggle initially at least against stronger teams.
I have not seen today’s game so reluctant to comment.......however my biggest concern is that he has played Odour every game.......he will never make it in championship side front 3, ......previous managers realised he his not strong enough and it seems to be that Schopp is a little bit too long to see this in my eyes..... not a good sign!!
