It stunk the whole day out. BFC tourists, please dont come anymore. We dont need your money, go to Meadowhall. While swearing may not be right, dont go to a match if you are easily offended. I dont go to church and complain about the singing!! You dont sit at a match like your watching eastenders, you support the team when they need you. You sat and did nothing. Kayode certanly is responsible for the defeat, yet he worked hard and for that he cant be faulted, he's just not good enough. Im gutted, but I will be there Weds. BFC FOREVER, STAY UP BOYS!!!
idiot. How can Odejayi be at fault for the defeat???? at fault for not taking one chance. perhaps two if you count front post flick, which was a hard chance. Even if he had scored didn't guarantee a win. Why don't you sit at home mate. if you're going to say swearing and being abusive is part of football i'd rather you did. What spoilt the day for me was seeing a little lad reduced to tears by abusive barnsley fans. But well done!! part of football!! that's what it is all about. family club and all that.
I'm very vocal............but not at Wembley.............nowt to shout about Shouting and singing at the start of the match but after that sat there absolutly dumbfounded by how we played Iceing on the cake was the Odejayi miss (seestars)
Re: Well said...i had the same... Three druken idiots sat in front of me who refused to sit down throughout. ended up with a slagging match. then an atmosphere for the rest of the game. Druken woman screaming at my lad. Do you think we can ID these idiots by seat No etc.
Im not saying its right at all but it goes on. Go to any away game and sit on a coach, some of the stuff said is terrible but some of it is comedy gold. I took my neice who heard stuff she's not used to but I and the people around us curbed it sufficiantly for her and the kids around us. Regarding Kayode are you real? 1 chance which was a gift was completely wasted, think we coulld have posiibly gone on to win it too had that gone in. But I certanly wasnt having a go at the lad, he knows he should have scored. F**K you nob Head, he's put the ball a yard wide, from 7 yards,
wish we could, but they'll not turn up again so don't worry! shame it spoilt your day though. well, that and losing.
ha ha ha. exactly mate. resort to form pal. i go to away games, i see the abuse, the racism, verbal abuse of our own fans and players. top notch that. Just hope no idiot screams in your neice's face and makes her hate being at a football match. didn't say it wasn't a bad miss did I? did i say that? or did i in fact say he missed 2 chances? just think he wasn't 100% to blame for "not winning". definately to blame for not equalising. But forgot you can be sure we would have kicked on to win from there. please, feel free to prove me wrong and show what a modern day wordsmith you are!! you missed out lovely person*, W*****, etc etc.
it sounds like the genuine life blood supporters were... ... outnumbered by the silent majority who do not approve of singing or showing emotion.
Unfortunately, as there was no special allocated area for the regulars, they were scattered to the elements and became ineffective. Some woman told a mate of mine to stop singing as it was spoilingher daughter's day out!

I've been a fan for thirty years and sat there quietly Always do ... sorry not a singer but do shout and show passion . To be honest that goal knocked the stuffing out of me ..with the way we've been playing I know we'd find it hard to score and coming so early knocked a lot of the lads confidence too.
To be fair I think I'd be classed as a genuine life blood supporter. I'm there through thick and thin anyway. However, I'm not much of a singer. I'll give it a real blast in games like Chelsea, but I'm not the type to start it off when it's all quiet. Being a regular doesn't make you a big singer. Ask the East Stand regulars.
no BFC tourists, no crowd Yep, a few neanderthals near me spent 10-15 mins shouting at other supporters to start singing. You pay your money, and you enjoy the game the way you want. I'm certainly not going to be dictated to by a few guys who'd clearly had a skinful before the game. They then stood up in front of a bunch of small kids with their families who couldn't see the game.
I think the club would beg to differ. I bet they wished the silent ones turned up every week. I know what you mean, but there was nothing much to sing about, you could barely hear it when people did anyway, and if it meant joining in with that shitty "Keep St George in my heart" song, I'd simply rather not bother.
