Performance and a result...superb.

We played football again and had the 5/10 min spell just before half time when we could have scored 3 goals. We were superbly well organised, motivated and passed the ball well with 2 proper footballers in the centre of midfield in Howard and McPhail. Howard offers us the greatest goal threat from central midfield of anyone and he and McPhail should be given the shirts from now till the end of the season. I have been suggesting over the past few weeks that we can cope without Burns and that the 2 in the middle should be the ones playing today, I have said that constantly.
Today just confirmed my season long belief that we are good enough to get out of this league and that performance should also convince the players that they are good enough.

I have nothing against Jacob as a person or for him commitment to BFC whenever he has played, I just think that today shows the difference in class between Burns and Howard.

Howard is suspended next sat, simple put Bobby Hassell alongside Macca and recall reid or Carbon alongside Kay and another 3 points beckons.

Howard was superb. I thought we'd miss Burns tackling in midfield, but we looked half the team when Howard went off and he came on.
