Perhaps it was the contrast in styles of play that led to Mellons' departure

    I remember an interview with MM not long after he came here. He basically said it was obvious that our main problem was that we weren't moving the ball around quickly enough and that we needed to press the opposition further up the field in their own half and get in their faces.This certainly started to work and gave us all fresh hope.
    This season Flicker seemed to abandon that and to me it seems that DW prefers a more slower, laid-back build-up style that clearly isn't working. Maybe this clash of 'styles of play' made MM's departure imminent?
    Interesting times ahead?
