Great night at the Faith & Football presentation in the legends suite tonight. Bobby lined up COG and Perkins to hand out the trophies. Obvious first question was to COG 'Who do you want to win on Saturday' and without hesitation he replied 'Barnsley!!! I thought he might be a bit more diplomatic and avoid committing himself. Both came across very well and hung around to sign autographs and have photos taken. Didnt realise Perkins only signed a professional contract at the age of 25. Done well to get to solid championship level in 5 years. His childhood ambition was to play for Liverpool!, whereas COG still hopes one day to play for Man U!!! Anyway next 6 week season starts on 4th June and is played at Kendray on monday nights 6:30 - 7:30. Aimed at 8-12 yearolds, both boys and girls. Completely free. Players assigned into 6/7 a side playing 6 x 8 minute matches. If anyone is interested or wants further details then send me a PM
