I must admit I took a while to warm to the Ginger Prince but for the past few years now he's been my favourite player, Perkins seems to have a similar work ethic and hopefully can emulate what Bobby has put into the team in his time at the club.

He could be, if he was abit younger at 29, he may only have 2 or 3 years in him, because of the way he plays (box to box). I would turn my head to doyle, mr versatile like bobby.

If he keeps on playing like he has been he will definitely become a crowd favourite. It's early days but so far I have been very impressed with him. Possibly a little too old to achieve the status of Sir Bobby amongst the Oakwell faithful but he will be loved if he carries on like this.

Don't you like him Mark? I said to Esl & D/T earlier that maybe he isn't the most technically gifted (àla Hassell) but he definitely puts a shift in!

I do like him, but I dont think he is all that!! He has got a bloody good motor and gets all over the pitch but he looks a bit clueless at times, although I will say that today he did hit the post and played one excellent ball across the field, he is like Marmite .
